The Pathogenicity of Resistant Bacterial Colonies, Viruses, and Molds
A Novel Solution to a Pressing Problem
Written by Dr. Adiel Tel-Oren, MD
Virulent microorganisms, when allowed to proliferate in the body, are major contributors to inflammation, toxins, free radicals, and stress, leading to degenerative disease and premature aging. Therefore, we must find ways to inhibit the overgrowth of pathogenic fungi, bacteria, and viruses in the lungs, gut, internal organs, tissues, and ducts. Tropical animals living in their natural plant-rich environment (as all humans once did in the proverbial Garden of Eden) are exposed to volatile bio-active antimicrobial plant molecules which are always present. This is not the case for modern humans.
The challenges faced by modern humans include: pollution, stress, imbalanced nutrition, and unhealthy environments low in plant-life. These can lead to immune suppression and frequent infections mostly treated with synthetic antibiotics, which result in chronic immune imbalance and resistant microbial colonies. This is further complicated by mass vaccinations and our obsession with cleanliness.* Some research suggests diseases such as allergies, asthma, Crohn’s disease and cancer can also be triggered by viral or bacterial infections.
Fortunately, there is an answer that comes directly from Nature in the form of pure bioactive molecules extracted from plants. Some of these molecules, which are manufactured by numerous plants for self-protection, have anti-microbial activity, not only killing microbes (as do antibiotics), but also interrupting microbial communication (”quorum sensing“), thus preventing the microbes from becoming pathogenic in the first place. These molecules have been optimally combined in our laboratories for specific health goals in what we term Bioactive Plant Fraction™ (BPF™) products. These innovative formulations can be inhaled from pocket-size inhalers, or from an ultrasonic diffuser (see back page). Diffusion helps manage molds, fungal spores, and other microbes, and can help reduce inflammation caused by indoor pollutants.
Many scientific studies have shown the molecules in the BPF™ selection to have these effects:

- fungi (e.g. yeasts, Candida albicans and molds, Aspergillus niger) gram-negative and
- gram-positive bacteria (e.g. K. pneumoniae and S. aureus) viruses (e.g. Herpes simplex 1)
- inhibition of various cancer cell lines in vitro
- prevention of replication inhibition of viruses associated with cancer (e.g. HPV)
- induction of cell death (apoptosis)
- antioxidant effects
- anti-inflammatory effects
- local analgesic and anaesthetic effects
